Foster families can automatically adopt the grey they foster!
Hello, my name is Edam!
I am a 5 year old black and white male. I ran 153 races and I am looking for my furever home. A little bit about me: I am a bit shy, but I warm up to people very quickly. I am still a bit confused about how I feel about other dogs. My foster parents think that I become a little irritated when another dog does not match my low-key demeanor. As such, I will need to meet other dogs in the home. I am currently not sure how I feel about cats.
I love going on walks and my foster parents have been very impressed with how chill I am on a leash. Other people in the park constantly compliment me, because I am so handsome and I am relaxed compared to other dogs in the park. The only time I typically pull on the leash is when I really need to go potty.
Speaking of going potty, I have only had a couple accidents in the house. Most of the time, this is related to it being cold and rainy outside and I hate going potty in the rain. Aside from that, I give my foster parents good indicators that I need to go potty. For example, I will either sit patiently by the door or trot around the living room to get their attention.
In the house, I typically sleep all day. I was a bit apprehensive when I first came to the house, but I warmed up to the place pretty quickly. I also learned to use stairs, which I run up and down without problem. I nearly never bark - barring when I get a random urge to hear my own voice. However, after one or two barks in a week, I feel like I have barked enough. When it's time for bed, I get into the crate easily with a treat.
As you can see, I am a gentleman inside the house and out. I’d love it if you would consider me as a companion. If you are interested, please feel out the application below!
