WE HAVE NEW ARRIVALS NEEDING FUREVER HOMES
Hi, my name is ‘PJ UR Welcome’ but I go by PJ. I am not quite ready to go to my furever home, but I want to introduce myself and give everyone a little of my story.
I am seven years young but do not let my age discourage you. I have many years of love and fun to give as many greyhounds live to be fourteen to fifteen years old. I ran in ninety races and then became a brood mom, what that means is I had babies. In fact, I had six of them, they are in school right now and one of my babies has graduated and has already had three races. Wouldn’t it be fun to follow my babies through their careers?
One of my favorite things is to look out the window and keep up with the many activities going on in the neighborhood. My foster mom says I have a crush on our mail carrier and he’s OK if he is outside as I am a bit shy at first. I like to sleep on my soft bed in the same room with my foster mom but sometimes I must go in my kennel, and I do not mind going in there when I must.
Although my foster mom has given me lots of love and extra greyt care, everything has not always been perfect for me. During my spay surgery I had to have a bad toe removed because it just wasn’t right and was causing me problems, and don’t get me started on the teeth cleaning thing, turns out I had to have seven teeth removed, but since I started with forty-two, that doesn’t slow me down. My foot is still recovering but once it heals, I will be ready to find my furever home so keep watching this website for updates on me as my hoomans will let everyone know when I am ready.
