Foster families automatically can adopt the grey they foster.
Hello there! I’m Oshkosh Flack but now that we’ve met, you can call me Ducky.
I’m a big beautiful brindle boy. My last weigh in at the vet, had me around 77 lbs. I’m really enjoying the retired life. My foster home has no carpet and it’s no problem for me to navigate. There are only a few steps leading into the home and I’ve not had any issues going up or down those. I haven’t been around cats or other dogs yet so I don’t know if I’m small animal safe yet.
One thing you should know about me is that I love cheese! It’s only a special little treat that I get when Foster Mom hides the meds in there. I am also very fond of dental treats. When me and the girls wake up in the mornings we get these.
The two resident greys, Susie and Lady, have trained me to stay off the furniture even though they get on there. If I get too close, Lady growls at me. I have a big fluffy comforter in my crate that I like to snuggle with so they can keep their couches!
I’m a great sleeper. Foster Mom puts us to bed around 9:00 and since it’s summer vacation there aren’t many alarms that go off in the morning. We’ve been waking up around 6:30. I’m never the one that whines. It’s always Susie and that belly of hers.
I haven’t had any potty accidents and I only had to wear my belly band for a couple of days. I haven’t had any urges that needed immediate attention so hopefully if I do, I’ll let Foster mom know.
I love squeaky toys, in fact, I have all of them in my crate as we speak. I have some bones in there as well, but I haven’t quite figured out what to do with those just yet.
Ear rubs are my favorite. I will rest my head in your lap and let you rub me for as long as you like. I’ve snuck in a few kisses for Foster mom. I also like belly rubs and my backside scratched.
All in all, I’m a pretty quiet and lovable guy! Could you be my furever home???
