Bart’s Racingkane (“Simon”)

Hello everyone my name is Simon and I am 4 years old !  I ran in over 200 races until I retired recently.   My racing name is Bart’s RacingKane and I’m approximately 75 lbs of pure love.  My foster mom thinks I’m the sweetest boy around and I’m a show stopper with my fawn and brindle coat! I love to go for walks around the neighborhood and going for car rides to foster mom’s friend’s house.  I enjoy meeting new doggie friends and getting extra treats.  I am a very easy going guy and I get along great with my three other foster sibling dogs and two cats!  Those sweet cats don’t bother me at all ! I don’t like my crate, so foster mom has two beds for me in different rooms so I can choose what bed I want to stretch out in. Sometimes I get lonely at night when foster mom goes upstairs to bed, but I settle down and sleep in my bed after a few minutes.  Thunderstorms don’t seem to bother me and I sleep right through them.   I still have not mastered walking up and down the stairs yet so I may need some guidance if you have stairs.  I really like eating yogurt and cheese for a treat and so do my other doggie brothers and sisters. I haven’t found a special toy I like yet so be patient I’m sure I will find the right one soon.  Foster mom gets to work from home part of the week and it makes me very happy because I like to sleep in my bed next to her desk. I am the most lovable and handsome guy you could imagine.  I can’t wait to find my new furever home!!
